PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Sarat Vadada is the co-founder and President of Hands on Physical therapy. He is a New York State Licensed Physical therapist and has been providing patient care since 2002. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical therapy and biological science from Loyola College and Sri Ram Chandra University, India, and completed a certificate in Functional Orthopedics from Touro College. Sarat worked as a Homecare Physical therapist at South Nassau Hospital and was awarded best employee in 2008 for his excellence in patient care.

With 26 years of experience, Sarat developed an extensive and versatile variety of patient care skills by participating in education programs in many areas of physical therapy. Sarat strongly believes in personalized care and providing evidence-based skilled physical therapy treatment. In 2009, he established the first Hands on Physical therapy clinic in Baldwin, NY. Sarat’s particular areas of expertise include manual therapy, Post-surgical orthopedic conditions, balance and coordination, and managing musculoskeletal pain. Sarat holds excellent relationships with many of the New York-based Doctors and works closely with them while providing patient care. Out of work, he loves to travel around the world to explore different cultures. He has a passion for Tennis, Volleyball and has actively participated in and won competitive badminton tournaments all across the US.

SHANTI MUDUMBA

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Shanti Mudumba, M.S.P.T is a licensed physical therapist practicing in New York state. She graduated with a Bachelors in Physical Therapy from Sri Ramachandra Medical University,India. She further accquired her Masters in Musculoskeletal PT from Queen Margaret college,Scotland. Over the past 16 years, Shanti had the opportunity to work in various rehabilitation settings which include out patient clinics, group homes,Day rehab facilities, Special schools and home care. She has treated different age groups from children to geriatric patients with a wide range of conditions like orthopedic, post surgical, neurological, balance and coordination problems.

VINOTH KAILASH CHANDRA MOHAN

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Vinoth Kailash Chandra Mohan earned his Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai, India. He is a licensed PT in New York, USA. He also earned Post Graduate diploma in community-based Rehabilitation and Hospital management. He joined our organization in August 2011. With 24 years of experience as a PT, Vinoth specializes in Home care & Geriatric care including fall prevention & balance rehabilitation, post-surgical cases such as joint surgeries, and post-traumatic cases, rehabilitation of intellectual disability individuals, and other neurological conditions.

JOSH MATHAI RAJAN

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Josh Mathai Rajan is a New York state licensed Physical Therapist. He successfully completed Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Physical therapy from Mahatma Gandhi University, India.

In 2019, he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University, U.S.A. His expertise includes various musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and arthritis. With a focus on pain and mobility management, Josh incorporates hands-on therapeutic skills, goal-oriented exercise planning, and evidenced-based treatment techniques. Josh believes in empowering patients to control their condition and return to a normal lifestyle. In his spare time, he loves to drive and explore new places. Josh is working in Foresthills and Rockville center clinics.

NEERAJA SURYAWANSHI

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Neeraja is a New York state licensed Physical therapist. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and Master’s degree from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. In 2019, she earned her Doctorate in Physical therapy degree from the University of Montana, U.S.A.

With an experience of 16+ years working in India and the United States, she has gathered extensive experience working in outpatient clinics, hospitals, and home care settings. She brings a holistic outlook to her work with an emphasis on considering mind and body as a whole, not just the symptoms and diagnosis. She believes prevention is the best form of intervention and hence blends patient education and prevention strategies along with evidence-based assessment and treatments. She has experience treating musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, fall prevention, post stroke rehabilitation with exercise-based rehabilitation and manual therapy. She has a special interest in Women’s health and has pursued a Postnatal fitness specialist certificate. When she is not working she loves spending time with her family and traveling.

NEHA DOGRA

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Neha is a licensed Occupational therapist. She received her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Touro College, NY, and also holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Queens College NY.

With an extensive experience of 9 years working in schools, group homes, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient clinics she has provided skilled care for patients with special needs, fall prevention in adults, balance and coordination training, rehabilitation for stroke patients, and musculoskeletal injuries.

She is dedicated to evidence-based practice and believes in providing comprehensive care that considers the patient’s social, emotional, cultural, and physical needs. Neha’s goal is to address patients’ needs and help them meet specific goals that are meaningful in order to be independent with their daily tasks across all environments. Neha loves spending her free time, hiking and doing outdoor activities with her family.

MRINAL JHA

SPEECH THERAPIST

Mrinal Jha is a New York state licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. He earned Masters degree in speech and hearing in 1998 and is currently pursuing in Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University, PA. He is certified in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and has received his Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a New York State Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities(TSSLD).

With over 22 years of experience in the field of speech, language and swallow evaluations and therapy, he worked in a wide variety of setups such as skilled nursing homes, Hospitals, group homes, private clinics, day habilitation, special needs adults, and children. He specializes in Adult neurogenic disorders/dysphagia, stroke, Intellectually disabled individuals, Autism and T.B.I, and aphasia. Dysarthria, swallowing disorders/dysphagia and voice, articulation, stuttering, etc.

When he is out of work, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family and playing sports.

ANETA KULAJ

OFFICE MANAGER

Aneta Kulaj, Our office manager a Masters degree holder in science presents with years of work experience as Administrative assistant at SAIC greater New York City and several years of customer service at Citi bank.

Aneta posses proven office management and administrative experience. Exhibits excellent time management skills, ability to multi task, problem solving skills and strong organizational skills.

Maintains office operations, preparing pay roll, assigning and monitoring clerical functions. Coordinates all the therapists to provide proper schedule and care to all the patients. Designs and implements office policies and establishing standards.

Ms Aneta kulaj also excelled as medical assistant helping patients under supervision of the therapist. She possess excellent communication skills And professionalism with patients and peers.

Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training. Over all contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
