DR. SARAT VADADA (PT, DPT)
Doctor of Physical Therapy | Founder & President, Hands On Physical Therapy & Hands on Rehabilitation Center.Dr. Sarat Vadada, DPT, is a New York State–licensed Physical Therapist with more than 30 years of experience specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation and vestibular therapy. A dedicated clinician and entrepreneur, he combines deep clinical expertise with a visionary approach to healthcare delivery. His leadership led to the founding of Hands On Physical Therapy, a network of state-of-the-art facilities serving patients across the New York metropolitan area—including Manhattan, Washington Heights, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island.
Dr. Vadada earned his bachelor’s degrees in Physical Therapy and Biological Sciences from Loyola College and Sri Ram Chandra University in India. He later completed advanced certification in Functional Orthopedics at Touro College before earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Montana University. He began his career as a homecare therapist at South Nassau Hospital, where he was recognized as Best Employee in 2008 for his outstanding commitment to patient care.
With three decades of hands-on clinical practice, Dr. Vadada has developed extensive expertise in manual therapy, post-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation, balance and coordination training, vestibular rehabilitation, and the management of complex musculoskeletal pain. He is known for his patient-centered philosophy, evidence-based methods, and strong collaborative relationships with physicians across New York.
His personal and professional journey has been closely intertwined with his family. He married his classmate and lifelong partner, Shanti Mudumba, MSPT, who earned her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Together, they co-founded Hands On Physical Therapy, building both a thriving practice and a family rooted in education, perseverance, and holistic care. Married for 25 years, they are proud parents of two accomplished children: Sahith Vadada, a graduate of Columbia University now working in finance, and Shruti Vadada, a graduate of The George Washington University pursuing her law degree.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Vadada is passionate about sports and wellness. His love for athletics inspired the creation of the Independence Cup, an annual badminton tournament held each August that brings together players from across the United States. A devoted admirer of Rafael Nadal—an icon of resilience and perseverance—he channels the same determination and discipline into his clinical, entrepreneurial, and personal endeavors.
Equally important to Dr. Vadada are the lifelong relationships he has cultivated. He deeply values friendship and maintains close bonds with childhood friends around the world, reflecting his belief in loyalty, shared joy, and mutual support. In his free time, he enjoys travel, outdoor activities, and quiet time in nature. He also loves playing poker with friends, embracing the game’s balance of strategy, camaraderie, and fun.
Guided by values of service and compassion learned from his father—his first mentor and a physician in India—Dr. Vadada remains committed to giving back to his community. He is always available to offer guidance and support, continuing his lifelong dedication to healing, leadership, and service.
SHANTI MUDUMBA

Shanti Mudumba, M.S.P.T is a licensed physical therapist practicing in New York state. She graduated with a Bachelors in Physical Therapy from Sri Ramachandra Medical University,India. She further accquired her Masters in Musculoskeletal PT from Queen Margaret college,Scotland. Over the past 16 years, Shanti had the opportunity to work in various rehabilitation settings which include out patient clinics, group homes,Day rehab facilities, Special schools and home care. She has treated different age groups from children to geriatric patients with a wide range of conditions like orthopedic, post surgical, neurological, balance and coordination problems.
VINOTH KAILASH CHANDRA MOHAN

Vinoth Kailash Chandra Mohan earned his Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai, India. He is a licensed PT in New York, USA. He also earned Post Graduate diploma in community-based Rehabilitation and Hospital management. He joined our organization in August 2011. With 24 years of experience as a PT, Vinoth specializes in Home care & Geriatric care including fall prevention & balance rehabilitation, post-surgical cases such as joint surgeries, and post-traumatic cases, rehabilitation of intellectual disability individuals, and other neurological conditions.
JOSH MATHAI RAJAN
PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Josh Mathai Rajan is a New York state licensed Physical Therapist. He successfully completed Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Physical therapy from Mahatma Gandhi University, India.
In 2019, he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University, U.S.A. His expertise includes various musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and arthritis. With a focus on pain and mobility management, Josh incorporates hands-on therapeutic skills, goal-oriented exercise planning, and evidenced-based treatment techniques. Josh believes in empowering patients to control their condition and return to a normal lifestyle. In his spare time, he loves to drive and explore new places. Josh is working in Foresthills and Rockville center clinics.
KLEVER M. VASQUEZ ALVARADO
Klever M. Vasquez Alvarado, a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist at Hands on Physical Therapy. Klever earned his degree from York College CUNY and has amassed over five years of comprehensive clinical experience across various settings, including hospital inpatient and outpatient care, home health, and skilled nursing rehabilitation. With a specialization in upper extremity and cervical rehabilitation, Klever is dedicated to supporting adults and seniors on their recovery journeys, particularly those facing challenges related to strokes (CVA), Parkinson’s disease, and various arthritic conditions. He believes in the power of personalized therapy, crafting individualized plans that emphasize restoration and maintenance, while utilizing specialized equipment to prevent further impairments. Out of work, he loves fishing, being the BBQ grill master, and watching the UFC.NEHA DOGRA
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Neha is a licensed Occupational therapist. She received her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Touro College, NY, and also holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Queens College NY.
With an extensive experience of 9 years working in schools, group homes, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient clinics she has provided skilled care for patients with special needs, fall prevention in adults, balance and coordination training, rehabilitation for stroke patients, and musculoskeletal injuries.
She is dedicated to evidence-based practice and believes in providing comprehensive care that considers the patient’s social, emotional, cultural, and physical needs. Neha’s goal is to address patients’ needs and help them meet specific goals that are meaningful in order to be independent with their daily tasks across all environments. Neha loves spending her free time, hiking and doing outdoor activities with her family.
MRINAL JHA
SPEECH THERAPIST
Mrinal Jha is a New York state licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. He earned Masters degree in speech and hearing in 1998 and is currently pursuing in Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University, PA. He is certified in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and has received his Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a New York State Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities(TSSLD).
With over 22 years of experience in the field of speech, language and swallow evaluations and therapy, he worked in a wide variety of setups such as skilled nursing homes, Hospitals, group homes, private clinics, day habilitation, special needs adults, and children. He specializes in Adult neurogenic disorders/dysphagia, stroke, Intellectually disabled individuals, Autism and T.B.I, and aphasia. Dysarthria, swallowing disorders/dysphagia and voice, articulation, stuttering, etc.
When he is out of work, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family and playing sports.
ANETA KULAJ
OFFICE MANAGER
Aneta Kulaj, Our office manager a Masters degree holder in science presents with years of work experience as Administrative assistant at SAIC greater New York City and several years of customer service at Citi bank.
Aneta posses proven office management and administrative experience. Exhibits excellent time management skills, ability to multi task, problem solving skills and strong organizational skills.
Maintains office operations, preparing pay roll, assigning and monitoring clerical functions. Coordinates all the therapists to provide proper schedule and care to all the patients. Designs and implements office policies and establishing standards.
Ms Aneta kulaj also excelled as medical assistant helping patients under supervision of the therapist. She possess excellent communication skills And professionalism with patients and peers.
Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training. Over all contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
